Mountain landscapes in Bulgaria – scroll down if you haven’t seen them. From snow clad mountain ranges, pine forests, amazing beaches to healing hot water springs. A country in Southeast Europe with incredible cultural heritage and beautiful nature is less known as compared to other tourist destinations in EU. I have been living here for the last five years and am actually surprised by the fact that this gem for tourism is still hidden. So, If you are looking to be with nature and yet away from the din of commercial touristic destinations, this country should be on your bucket list.
Let me take you on a visual journey through some of the beautiful mountains I have visited in this region. I intend to travel more and cover some stunning landscapes from the Rhodopes, Rila region, and Stara plania in the coming year. 🙂
